Experience:

  • Ms. Dietrich has been licensed to practice law since 1991. Sarah is business and client-oriented in her approach to the law.  She takes the initiative to understand her client’s business needs in order to give legal advice and guidance that will help the client achieve its business objectives.  Ms. Dietrich has many years of experience as a Senior Attorney with Fortune 500 energy companies. Her work has included representing natural gas pipeline companies before the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) and providing advice regarding contract negotiations, pipeline expansion projects and gas quality issues. Ms. Dietrich also has many years of experience as an attorney with Baker Botts, LLP in both its Houston and Washington D.C. offices. While at Baker Botts she represented electric utilities, gas and power marketers, and natural gas pipelines.  Ms. Dietrich is also a geologist, and worked with the Texas General Land office before attending law school.
